The anaerobic culture jar is useful in carrying out the anaerobic culture test, which is done for finding specific bacteria in a wound or fluid sample collected from an infected area. The jar has a lid made of aluminum pressure die-casting process. Other components of this jar are a vacuum valve, safety valve, pressure valve, aluminum clamp, air-gas chuck, etc. The wound/anaerobic culture jar should be used only when its internal air is removed via the vacuum pump, after which CO2 is filled in it to create anaerobic conduction.
